JANE MCDONALD - who stepped down from her Cruising series on Channel 5 earlier this year - has opened up about missing her other half Eddie as she went into detail about one of her favourite holiday destinations.

Jane McDonald, 57, recently spoke out Malta's capital, Valetta, and the Greek island of Corfu when discussing her favourite holiday destinations in a new interview. However, the Cruising star revealed she "misses" her other half of 12 years, Walter "Eddie" Rothe.

Jane and Eddie have been together for 12 years, after first dating when they were teenagers.

The pair broke things off when their careers took them on different paths, but reunited when Eddie was a guest on Loose Women while Jane was on the panel.

While they have been together since 2007, the engaged couple is yet to tie the knot.

Jane returned to our TV screens with her new Channel 5 series Jane McDonald's Weekends Away.

While enjoying the hotels, food and wine, she revealed there was one thing missing on her time away.

After speaking to a couple on their honeymoon, Jane shared: "This is my perfect night, the only thing missing for me is my other half. This is just such a romantic place."
