French singer Juliette Gréco has died aged 93, the actress' family confrimed. The iconic musician died on Wednesday near St Tropez in France.
Her family confirmed the news of her death to AFP, writing: “Juliette Gréco died this Wednesday surrounded by her family in the house she loved so much. Her life was one like no other."
"She was still making French songs shine at the age of 89.”
The singer was not only known for her music but also as a style icon and an artistic muse to photographers and writers.
It has been reported that the singer died following a stroke.

The singer was famed for songs that include Parlez-moi d’amour, Je suis comme je suis and Si tu t’imagines.
Juliette's only daughter, Laurence-Marie, died in 2016.
She was married three times but also had a relationship with jazz trumpeter Miles Davis.
Tributes have been pouring in for Juliette, as many people offered their condolences.
