There are also reports that YouTube, the popular video sharing site owned by Google, has also been experiencing technical difficulties.
Users attempting to access certain Google services have been met with an error message saying: “The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.
“Please try again in 30 seconds. That’s all we know.”
According to Downdetector, a website which notes when services go offline, the majority of those reporting issues are in North America and east Asia.
There are also clusters of people reporting problems in South America, Australia and New Zealand.
