PHILLIP SCHOFIELD - a host on ITV's This Morning - has shared a hilarious video on social media as a sex doll was wheeled out of the studios earlier today following an awkward moment with his co-host Holly Willoughby.

Phillip Schofield, 58, looked on as a sex doll named “Bella” was carried out of the ITV studios today, after an episode of This Morning saw the topic of sex in isolation during the coronavirus pandemic being discussed. Holly Willoughby, 39,  who returned to her co-hosting duties, joked that she had been “replaced” by the blonde mannequin.

Phillip however appeared to find humour in the situation, as he shared a video of Bella being taken away by a team of filming crew wearing protective equipment.

He said on his Instagram story as the doll left ITV to return to its manufacturer: “Thanks Bella, thanks for coming in, see you! Have a lovely day. 

“Have a lovely day. Bye now, her shoes have fallen off! Round she goes there. Thanks Bella.

“Uh that’s how we treat all our guests, carry them out after the interview,” he added before bursting into fits of laughter.

The social media clip comes after Holly and Phil discussed the impact coronavirus has had on the sex industry. 

Ahead of their interview with sex doll manufacturer Jade Stanley, the pair were joined by one of the human-like products on the sofa. 

Holly showed evident discomfort as she sat next to the doll, which one of the crew members apparently had mistook for her.
