Food recalls are put in place after the discovery of safety issues or product defects that might endanger the consumer. Supermarkets including Tesco, Lidl, Asda and Morrisons are amongst those supermarkets who currently have urgent food recalls amid safety concerns. Customers should check their recent shop to see if any of these products are on the recall list.
If customers have any of these particular items in their cupboard or freezer, they should be returned to the store they were purchased from for a full refund.
The Food Standards Agency as well as the supermarkets’ websites have shared which food items have been recalled.
The latest recalls include cereal bars, sweetener and lasagne.
Here is a list of the affected items.
