Princess Anne’s brutal put-down exposed: ‘She wasn’t happy!’

PRINCESS ANNE had an expletive-filled complaint about a footman who made a mistake, according to an undercover reporter who infiltrated Buckingham Palace.

Ryan Parry got a job in the Palace looking to uncover flaws in their security and worked there for a whole two months. During that time, he was well-placed to hear all kinds of gossip and stories about the Royal Family. One of these stories came from a fellow footman who served the Princess Royal.

This servant reportedly went into Anne's apartment to carry out a menial task, but made a mistake in some way.

As he was leaving the room, he heard the princess call him a “f***ing incompetent t***”.

Mr Parry recalled this story in the documentary ‘Royal Servants’, uploaded to YouTube in 2011.

He said: “Well there was another example I was told by a senior footman, where he served the Princess Royal, Princess Anne.

“He was asked to go into her apartment and carry out a menial task, which he basically messed up.

“He went in to do it, got it wrong and Princess Anne wasn’t happy about it.

“Now, as he was leaving the room, he heard her mutter under her breath, ‘you f***ing incompetnent t***’.”

Mr Parry, who went undercover for the Daily Mirror in 2003 and won ‘Scoop of the Year’ for his ‘Intruder at the Palace’ report, heard numerous other tidbits that made for salacious reading.

For example, he also told an anecdote about a reportedly foul-mouthed Prince Andrew.

Another footman, he explained, had gone into the Duke of York’s bedroom in the morning, went to open the curtains and said “Good morning Your Royal Highness”, to which Andrew replied: "F*** off!”.

He said: “As part of a footman’s duty you had to, first of all, take a calling tray into a royals’ private bedroom.
