Charlie Stayt and Louise Minchin kicked off today’s edition of BBC Breakfast but Naga Munchetty was notably absent from the show. Charlie and Naga take over from Louise and Dan Walker on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays but one half of the presenting duo was missing and viewers demanded to know where she was.

Dan and Louise present BBC Breakfast on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Charlie and Naga then take over until Sunday where a host of different BBC presenters step in to present the show.
Naga’s absence from the show was not addressed and viewers took to Twitter to comment.
One tweeted: “@TVNaga01 Why are you not on the sofa this morning? [Are] you having a holiday?” (sic)

Another simply asked: “#BBCBreakfast What’s happened to Naga?” (sic)
“I reckon at 05:00 every morning the #BBCBreakfast presenters draw straws. The one who gets the short one has to interview the Government minister who won’t answer any of their questions @mrdanwalker @TVNaga01 @louiseminchin #AvoidAndDelay,” a third added.
Express.co.uk contacted a BBC representative for comment.
Naga joined BBC Breakfast in 2009 as a relief presenter and has presented early morning bulletins on the BBC News Channel since 2010.
