A PLACE IN THE SUN presenter Laura Hamilton has set the record straight on a behind-the-scenes issue, after being questioned about her wardrobe on the Channel 4 show by many fans via Instagram.

After a few eager fans rushed to ask Laura Hamilton, 38, why she tends to wear the same outfit for more than one day while filming episodes of A Place In The Sun, the property expert decided to address their popular query. The Channel 4 host opened up about the reasons behind it all in a series of videos on her Instagram story.

Laura gave her fans an insight into her fifth day of filming her pieces to camera shots in Abruzzo in this morning.

In view of her 101,000 followers, she began: "Day 5, and yes I am still in this same beautiful dress.

"Normally I'd only have to wear it for four days, but because we had mud gate this week, I'm having to do all my pieces to camera right now."

Laura was referring to her "scary" incident earlier on in the week where she ended up in a car accident after skidding off the road.

The mum-of-two then turned her phone around to show the stunning mountainous views of , as she added: "This is where I am, surrounded by beautiful vineyards.

"I've got one last piece to camera to record, then I get to change outfit and find out what my house hunters have decided to do."

Laura went on to address why she tends to wear the same dress for a few days in a row when presenting on the programme.

"A few people have asked me why do we wear the same clothes over five days," she said.
