Piers Morgan, 55, criticised the Britain’s Got Talent final, as five out of the ten acts that made the final of the series were magic acts. The GMB presenter asked followers if it was possible to make some of them “disappear” in a jibe at the plethora of magicians who had appeared on the programme.
Can we make them disappear?
Piers typed: "Far too many magicians on #bgtfinal - can we make some of them disappear?"
The tweet has already been favourited over 2000 times, as some of the show's viewers appeared to agree with Piers's sentiment.
One of his followers replied: "Totally agree and not one in the top 3. Listen up judges! What happened to all the good singers. Should be renamed Britain’s got nae talent! Poor show!" (sic)
A second commented: “Five magic acts was a bit much. A few of them were alright. The guy climbing into the box and it disappears behind a sheet, those tricks are old hat at this stage."

A third said: “They weren't even that extraordinary! I don't think any of the finalists were up to the calibre of Diversity, Susan Boyle or Richard Jones.”
However other fans of the programme disagreed with Piers, as they praised the magicians for being a “shining light” after a tumultuous year.
One user explained: “It’s the shining light of the show this year every magician act in the final is amazing, would be a travesty if one of them didn’t win.”
However the final was won by comic singer Jon Courtenay, who was Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer act.
