Peaky Blinders’ Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy Shelby, will explore his own record collection with a new late-night series on BBC Radio 6 Music. The 12-part series will see the actor and regular contributor of 6 Music curate playlists of old and new music as he explains why the music is special to him.
Cillian Murphy’s Limited Edition will include genres ranging from afrobeat to electronica, jazz, spoken word and poetry.
Iconic artists including Patti Smith, Iggy Pop and David Bowie will feature.
The series of two-hour programmes launch on October 19 at 12am.
At the end of each episode, listeners will be able to catch up on the next programme immediately on BBC Sounds.
