Is Don Warrington leaving Death in Paradise?

Fans of Death in Paradise have loved the stern head of the police force Commissioner Patterson ever since season one.

Over the years he has appeared in several major storylines and overseen several different head detectives.

Viewers have also been able to see a slightly softer side to him after his niece Ruby Patterson (played by Shyko Amos) was introduced to the show.

However, ahead of the return of the show for season 10, some viewers will be concerned about what the future holds for his character.
