Dianne Buswell, 31, has been the target of vile abuse from Trolls, who have sent unfounded claims that she has cheated on her boyfriend of two years, Joe Sugg, with her partner on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, The Wanted singer Max George. Bosses at the BBC have now ramped up security after learning of the malicious tweets which have been sent from a number of different accounts.
This was truly chilling
In one of the sinister messages, a fan of the show claimed to be at the apartment block where Dianne and Max are staying during the COVID-secure series.
The message has now been removed from the social media site which finished with: “This will be the end for Dianne.”
A show source told The Sun: “This was truly chilling — because someone claimed to be waiting for Dianne at a certain address.
“That triggered a security alert and obviously had to be taken seriously.

“Producers have taken action, along with security teams, and reassured the cast that their safety is paramount.”
BBC producers have now maximised security around Dianne and also reviewed the show’s protective measures.
The insider continued: “Strictly rightly take the safety of their stars very seriously, and felt the move was warranted.
“They would rather be over-cautious than not react to things. Fortunately, Dianne is a really positive person and has a tough skin so focused her efforts on her first live dance with Max.
