Kate Garraway joined Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain to share an update on husband Derek Draper’s condition. However, the GMB presenters were horrified when Kate explained she had the added trauma of someone stealing her family car from outside her home. Piers was incandescent and demanded those responsible return the vehicle.

After revealing the awful news, Piers said: “Some little scumbag or scumbags have come to your house and they’ve stolen your car when you’re going through what you’re going through.”

“Just at the time when you most need it,” Susanna added.

“It’s absolutely disgusting,” Piers exclaimed. 

“If there are any benevolent car dealers, anyone wants to help out,” he added. “It would just be nice to help out.”

Ranvir Singh addresses GMB co-star Piers Morgan's 'brutal' remarks

Kate explained: “It’s a real nuisance, even just going to the shops, going to get any shopping. I need to have a car, I really do.”

“For the kids as well,” Susanna interjected. 

“It makes me puke that someone has done this,” Piers raged. 

“I just want to be able to pick them and keep them safe,” Kate shared. “It was such a blow, particularly to Billy.

“There are bigger things than a car right now but it’s just one of those things. Then the same day, there was a massive leak.”
