The Duchess of York has uncovered a series of items she will be selling in her new Trust in order to support causes close to her heart. Among the products available for sale are ‘Brew for the Crew’, a bundle of 80 English teabags and four batches of salted caramel and chocolate chip biscuits, with the whole pack going for £35.
But the most personal item in the collection is a brooch, designed in honour of one of her oldest friends.
Although she has not revealed her friend’s name, it is known she died of cancer last April.
The piece of jewellery costs only £10.
Of the special design, the Duchess said: “The forget-me-not flower and the York Rose symbolise new life while honouring those who have died.”

The Duchess added: “Her positive energy and wicked sense of humour, even through her darkest times during her illness, will forever inspire me and all those that knew her.
“She was a superb friend, mother, grandmother and, thankfully, being godmother to her eldest daughter means we will forever be connected.”
