Claudia Winkleman, 48, has apologised to her BBC co-star, Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Greg James, 34, for accidentally calling him Craig on Saturday night’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing 2020. The awkward blunder took place while the presenter was chatting to Clara Amfo, 36, and her partner Aljaž Škorjanec, 30, following their Jive.
Radio 1 DJ Clara, who was sadly eliminated from the BBC dance competition in Sunday night’s results show, had received some video messages from her colleagues to give her support ahead of her performance.
While addressing the sweet comments that were sent to Clara from Greg, Nick Grimshaw and Mollie King, Claudia struggled to get Greg’s name right in spite of them working together in the past.
It appears the star may have gotten confused after speaking about Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood’s feedback to the duo before she discussed Clara’s Radio 1 colleagues.
