Holidays may be back on the cards now but caution should still be taken when travelling. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has updated its travel advice with top tips for jet-setting during the Christmas period. The authority is urging Britons to do their research ahead of travelling.
"As the travel and wider restrictions that were in place between November 5 and December 2 throughout England are replaced by regional tiers, the FCDO is urging people to inform themselves of their local rules and the possible disruption they may face if they choose to go overseas," said the Foreign Office.
"Those residents in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland should consult the regulations that apply to them."
