The Scottish Government has warned new changes to customs and exports following Brexit could cost the UK up to £7billion each year, while Scotland's Constitution Secretary Mike Russell has predicted the country's GDP could plummet by as much as six percent over the next decade. The SNP's Westminster leader Ian Blackford has said Boris Johnson's Conservative Party "must apologise to Scottish businesses and pay compensation to Scotland for the long-term damage they are doing to our economy - costing us billions in lost trade and growth". He also described Brexit as "an unnecessary act of economic vandalism, which has been inflicted against Scotland's will".
But Express.co.uk readers have rejected the demands from the SNP for Scotland to be paid compensation from Brexit.
The latest poll, which ran from 11.30am until 9pm on Sunday January 10, asked: "Should Scotland receive compensation for Brexit?"

The remaining five percent (696 readers) disagreed, while less than one percent (71 percent) were undecided.

One Express.co.uk reader wrote: "Yet again Sturgeon and the SNP embarrass the people of Scotland. They are an absolute travesty.
"Please accept my apologies from the decent people of Scotland who so no support this.
"Words fail me how they are still power."
Another reader said: "Sturgeon is in a panic. They cannot fund basic necessary services.
