The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were able to end 2020 "on a high" according to royal expert Katie Nicholl. She has also revealed how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new business endeavours since breaking from the Royal Family have seen them come through a "very challenging year."
Ms Nicholl told ET: "So I think when you look back at what has been a very challenging year for everyone but also Meghan and Harry, actually they have emerged as winners.
"They sealed the deal with Netflix with Spotify, they launched their new website all by the end of the year.
"We heard more of the real them I think than perhaps we have ever heard in their holiday podcast special and so I think that marked the close of 2020 on a high for them."
The royal commentator added the lucrative deals had set the Duke and Duchess of Sussex up for an "exciting" future.
