An expert claimed Harry and Meghan's Nottingham Cottage home was the beginning of their rift with fellow royals. Royal author Tom Quinn, made the claims while speaking to Channel 5's documentary, Meghan & Harry: Two Troubled Years.
He said the fact it was a small home compared to Kate and William's Kensington Palace home "led to friction".
Mr Quinn said: "Nottingham Cottage is in the grounds of Kensington Palace, and it's quite small.
"It's tiny compared to the enormous double apartment that Kate and William have.

"Inevitably that led to friction. In Meghan's world, if you're determined enough, you can get to the top.
"But Meghan can't, she can't get to the top whatever she does."
Nottingham Cottage on Kensington Palace grounds is the height of luxury, albeit only large enough for one resident or a couple.
The home has two reception
