This week Kate and William marked their tenth wedding anniversary together and were inundated with happy wishes from around the globe. Their 10-year marriage has seen four prime ministers come and go from, and in April, the pair marked the passing of William's grandfather, Prince Philip. In the run-up to their big day, the Duchess of Cambridge was reportedly unable to agree with other members of the Middleton family, including her mother Carole, on who should be given the honour of designed her wedding dress.
Dan Wootton, a royal commentator, claimed, however, that it was far from an easy decision for Kate to make.
Speaking on the 2017 Amazon Prime documentary, 'Kate Middleton: Working Class to Windsor', Mr Wootton said: "Believe me, the decision about what dress designer all of the Middletons were going to use raged for some time.

"And then she shoved it out of the way, at the last minute because of all these women knew, picking a dress designer was so important."
Kate would wear another Sarah Burton number for the reception after the ceremony.
This dress featured a circle skirt and diamante detailing, which again stunned those lucky enough to attend the evening function.
