Adam Henson, 54, has praised Countryfile after his co-star Ellie Harrison, 43, became “really emotional” while watching him fight to save the life of a newborn lamb on the show. The Cotswolds farmer says it is “great" the show aired how at that particular moment the “pressure was on” to save the animal’s life.
It showed the viewer what farmers go through
Opening up on the tear-jerking scenes, Adam told Express.co.uk: “She did get quite emotional, as the pressure was on her to make sure it stayed alive while I was lambing the second one.
“As a farmer, although I have seen thousands of lambs born, that doesn’t come without emotion.Insurance Loans Mortgage Attorney Credit Lawyer
“Though I feel the pressure and tension, as well. It kind of showed her and the viewer what farmers go through all day and all night when you’re lambing, you know,” he added.
The seasoned farmer says that moment which went viral online, showed the public how stressful delivering animals can be.

He continued: “We’re in there to do our best by the animals to keep them fit and healthy.
“So yeah it is great they [Countryfile] showed that on the programme, there’s a lot of feedback on that sort of moment.”
In the traumatic scenes aired on BBC, the animal appeared to be breathing at first, but it was touch and go.
Ellie could be seen quivering, as she struggled to hold back her tears while looking on.
