Nigel Boyle who played Detective Superintendent Ian Buckells in Line of Duty appeared via video link on Monday’s BBC Breakfast to talk to Jon Kay and Louise Minchin about the finale of the BBC cop drama. In scenes which aired on Sunday night, Nigel’s character was finally revealed to be the fourth man, also known as H. As he discussed what it was like to keep his role a secret for so long, viewers couldn’t help but notice how the actor looked completely different to his Line of Duty character.
Taking to social media, one viewer said: “So, its dopey Buckles looks like a different bloke.” (sic)
