The 89-year-old has shied away from the spotlight after being diagnosed with two life-threatening aneurysms in 2015.
While his family have previously spoken of his recovery, his close friend Jimmy Tarbuck has now opened up about his health.
Speaking on stage in Blackpool recently, the 77-year-old reassured fans of the former Strictly Come Dancing star that he is on "good form".
"He's okay, but he's a bit frail. He's had an aneurysm," Jimmy explained, according to The Mirror.Related articles
