Brothers Harry and Jack Williams, who penned the critically-acclaimed series, have suggested that fans could see French detective Julien Baptiste (played by Tchéky Karyo) back on the case.
Speaking at a press event, they told media including Express.co.uk: “I think that was just us talking a bit of jazz yesterday. We think it would be quite fun.”
They went on to say: “I think we really like Tchéky and the character of Julien. We’d really like to see them again. I don’t think we’ll do a Missing three but we’d like to see him again in some form or another.Related articles
“But we haven’t got as far as talking to what that might be. But we thought it would be quite cool.”
The Missing season two made huge waves when it aired on BBC One last year as viewers were presented with an inverted missing child case, whereby an abducted girl turns up but there is uncertainty over he identity?
The pair were talking at a screening for their latest drama Liar, starring Downton Abbey’s Joanne Froggatt and Ioan Gruffudd and tells the story of a first date that ends in a rape allegation.
