The Quality of Nationality Index has revealed the world's most powerful passports
In an increasingly globalised world, it pays to have a powerful passport.
But being able to travel freely through all countries on the planet is a luxury afforded to few.
The Quality of Nationality Index (QNI), by Henley and Partners, has revealed the lineup of the most respected passports around the globe.
Using factors including external value of nationality, settlement freedom and travel freedom, the QNI ranks 159 countries on an annual basis.

The European nation has held onto first place for six years running, with a score of 82.7 per cent.
France and Denmark trailed closely in second place with equal scores of 82.4.
Iceland ranked third on 81.3 per cent, followed by Sweden on 81.2.
The UK didn’t make an appearance until 12th place, with a score of 79.2 per cent.
