Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Zoe Ball mortified as phone goes off live on It ...

The 46-year-old looked very embarrassed as she swiftly found her phone and turned it off during an interview with Aston Merrygold and his professional dance partner Janette Manrara.

“Someone’s ringing me, I’m really sorry!” she exclaimed to the guests as laughter erupted in the BBC studio.

She continued as she found the mobile nestled amongst some scatter cushions next to her: “My son! I’ll just turn it off. Thanks very much!”

Both Aston, 29, and Janette, 33, were in hysterics as Zoe attempted to regain her composure and carry on with the rest of the interview.

It appeared that Zoe had tried to hide her phone on the sofa but had clearly forgotten to turn it on silent as it vibrated loudly.

"Where am I?" Zoe yelled in mock anger as she quipped: "Oh yes, I'm in the studio."
