Marks & Spencer’s Christmas advert: Paddington Bear saves the day! #M&S

One of the best loved characters in children’s literature takes centre stage in the 90-second advert and ends up becoming a festive hero.

The short clip sees Paddington dreaming of marmalade before he is woken up on Christmas Eve by a burglar on his roof.

However, Paddington mistakes the burglar to be Santa Claus as he is wearing a red outfit and is carrying a sack full of presents he’s just stolen from the neighbours.
