A 50p coin to celebrate the birth of British scientist Isaac Newton went into circulation officially in September.
Only 375 of the coins were released initially at the place of Isaac Newton’s birth, Woolsthorpe Manor in Lincolnshire.
Since, the coins have been released into circulation in the UK slowly and Britons are starting to find the piece in their change.
Now one such person has listed the coin on eBay for £3,500.Related articles

The coin was created to celebrate Isaac Newton, who was a maths and science pioneer.
Newton is famous for discovering gravity when an apple fell on his head, but he pioneered many other theories of physics.
He devised the laws of motion, built the first reflective telescope and made the first theoretical calculation of the speed of sound.
He was also a member of the Royal Mint.
