A ServPro franchisee purchased for nearly $2 million a Norwalk industrial building that previously had been home to The Avenue Gallery, Kong CrossFit and Brandmans Paint and Decorating.

Norwalk-based Brandman Realty LP sold the building at 173 Main St. to Kimball Brook Holdings of Stamford, Conn., an entity managed by local ServPro franchisee Michael Keating, who confirmed plans to refurbish the facility for use by his company’s operations covering Norwalk and Wilton. ServPro provides a range of cleanup and restoration for water damage, storms, fire and mold among other services.

Selling separately for $450,000 at 183 Main St. was a small commercial property used by Fairfield County Auto, with the buyer an entity managed by Weston resident David English.
