Lincolnshire police have warned that the A52 had become “impassable” between Boston and Skegness due to snow - a snowplough was unable to clear the area.

The A66 was shut between Scotch Corner and Brough while the A628 was closed in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire between Flouch and Tintwistle as snow and stranded vehicles made areas impossible to navigate.

The A3 Portsmouth Road northbound at the M25 has a lane closed on an entry ramp due to a stalled car.

Travellers are being urged to approach with care due to a traffic signal failure on the B273 Green Lane Both ways at Northwood Road.

A road is closed due to snow on the A120 Horsley Cross Roundabout both ways between Parkeston Road and the B1035 Clacton Road.
