The 25-year-old actress, who played Lauren Branning in BBC soap EastEnders, admitted that she felt “ashamed” and “terrified” when she found out about her “surprise” pregnancy and didn’t want to tell her mother.
Speaking on her Youtube channel Jacqueline’s World in a recent Q&A, one fan asked her how she felt when she first found out that she was going to be a mum for a second time.
She replied: “I was terrified, which is weird, I felt exactly the same and thought I am not telling my mum, even though come on it’s pretty obvious now.

“It’s what happens when you make a baby, like hello, I’ve already got one, it’s obvious,” she added: “I just couldn’t, you do go into the sort of frame of mind and it is stupid.”
The award-winning star decided to leave her alter-ego Lauren after seven years on the soap, with Jacqueline insisting that one of the reasons for her exit was due to her struggling with the balance of looking after her two-year-old daughter Ella, and working 12 hours a day.
