The Good Morning Britain star warned: “You may be able to get to work but will you be able to get home?”
Issuing his report from the roof of the ITV studio, Alex could be seen sheltering from the snow, wrapped up in a blue coat and faux-fur hat as he revealed “things will get worse” over the course of the day.
He told viewers: “There will be blizzard conditions, there will be strong winds and snow and also the possibility of super cold rain, which will make roads very dangerous.
“Really do think about your journey. We still have the Beast from the East. The strong winds will make it feel very cold.”
