Phillip Schofield and co-host Holly Willoughby spoke to semi-finalist Brooke Vincent on This Morning, who revealed she’d had some trouble getting to training this week.
The Coronation Street star confessed: “I’ve been slipping and not on the ice.”
Phillip went on to revealed: “I got a text from our boss saying the weather is causing havoc with training.
“Jake [Quickenden] and Kem [Cetinay] both had minor car accidents on their way to training. They were in separate cars. Jake had to abandon his car but both are fine.””Related articles
He quickly assured viewers that they were unharmed as Brooke confessed she wasn’t surprised because they were strung “down windy country roads”.
Earlier, Jake, 29, took to his Twitter page to update his fans on the incident.
“Be careful if you’re out in the snow, had a nightmare morning, skidded going like 5mph and bumped another car that was broken down, everyone ok, but the roads are tragic so please be careful!” he told his 508,000 followers.
Meanwhile, back in the This Morning studio, Brooke begged the presenters to announce who was in the skate-off this week quicker on Sunday night.
