Snapchat has gotten into the Easter spirit by creating an Easter egg hunt for its users.
More than a million Easter eggs have been hidden for Snapchatters to find, with points given for each egg found.
Regular Easter eggs net Snapchat users one point while harder-to-find golden eggs are worth five points.
Snapchat keeps tracks of points and will compare a user’s score to any friends that are also playing along.
Easter eggs have been hidden in public places like cinemas, restaurants, cafes and post offices.
The Easter 2018 activity is only available for Snapchat users in the US and Canada - UK fans will be missing out, Newsweek reported.
If you’re eligible play and you want to take part, start by opening the Snap Map.

Going into this feature will bring up a message that says “The Great Snapchat Egg Hunt Begins”.
It adds: “The hunt is on - collect as many eggs as you can through April 1st!
“Just tap a nearby egg on the Map to add it to your basket.
“Remember: play safe, keep an eye on your surroundings, no trespassing, and have fun!”
Using the Snap Map means friends will be able to see a user’s location, but if you want to be incognito
