The royal baby was born yesterday, and the world was told the news by Kensington Palace’s Twitter account, which represents Kate Middleton, 36, and Prince William, 35.
However, Meghan Markle, 36, was notably missed off the announcement.
Kensington Palace tweeted: “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
Since Meghan is soon to marry Prince Harry, 33, why was she left of the list?
The Queen, 92, Prince Philip, 96, Prince Charles, 69, Camilla Parker Bowles, 70, and Prince Harry were all give the nod.
Meghan Markle was snubbed from royal baby news from Kate Middleton - but why?
Royal expert Marlene Koenig revealed why she believes the Suits actress was left off the list.
She told Harpers Bazaar: “Meghan is not a member of the royal family yet, so she is not a relative at this time.
"Meghan is Harry's fiancée, but is not yet Auntie Meghan."
She believes that it is all in the timing, and in just a month’s time Meghan would have been included.
Marlene added: “If the baby had been born after the wedding, Meghan would certainly have been included. It is not a snub."
