Mr Cagni trashed Emmanuel Macron's calls for luring British companies away from the UK after Brexit, arguing that country needs to reform itself before anything else.
France’s President Macron unveiled plans to make Paris Europe’s biggest financial centre, snatching talent from London’s prosperous banking sector after Brexit.
But the Board of Business France boss shut down Mr Macron as he told Sky News: "The key points we understood a long time ago is that we need first to look at ourselves and how we reform ourselves.
"That’s by bringing a sense of reform – that we have started at an amazing speed – so we are going to attract more talent, more investment.

"Even the UK last year, in 2017, has been increasing the amounts of projects which were related to investment in France. That shows you that Brexit or non-Brexit, what is at stake is how we reform ourselves, how we transform the country, to be able to be more attractive for
