Marlene Koenig, a royal expert and author warned fans of Kate Middleton not to expect her to play a prominent role in the upcoming nuptials - for two reasons.
She said: “The Duchess of Cambridge barely knows Meghan.”
Meghan Markle is likely to choose an old school friend as a bridesmaid and potentially maid of honour at her royal wedding to Prince Harry.
They met at a literature class at Northwestern University.
However, the biggest clue is the fact that Meghan was Lindsay’s maid of honour at her wedding 2016.

The author has posted numerous images of she and Meghan together on various occasions to her Instagram account.
She posted a birthday tribute to her friend on 4 August, 2016, which read: “Happy happy birthday to the most kind, generous, wickedly smart and gorgeous (inside and out) #maidofhonor a girl could have! I love you @meghanmarkle.”
Lindsay’s partner and her child are likely to attend the wedding alongside the author as she stands by her friend on her big day.
