Catherine Tyldesley joined her ITV co-stars in celebrating her departure from Coronation Street at a beach-themed leaving ‘do in Manchester.
The 34-year-old actress, who plays Eva Price in the hit soap opera, was partying with Shayne Ward, Antony Cotton, Georgia Taylor and others when she revealed she would like to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
“I don’t watch much reality TV, but the one show I do watch is Strictly Come Dancing. I adore it,” she said.
“That’s the only one I would possibly do.”
The TV star also opened up about her “emotional” last scene, revealing she shared her final shoot with her “best friends” Jane Danson and Georgia Taylor, who play Eva’s siblings.

“I’ve been there for seven years and I think the fact that my sisters were with me for my last scene made it even more emotional," she told OK! Magazine.
“They’ve become my best friends. I’ve been with them for 12 hours a day and then all of a sudden I’m not going to be.
“Obviously we’re going to keep in touch, but it is a huge change for me, but it’s an exciting one.”
Catherine, who announced she was quitting Coronation Street in December, admitted the decision was a difficult one to make.
