In Sunday’s episode, Ross Poldark (played by Aidan Turner) will take his wife around the sights of London.
Speaking about Ross enjoying some alone time with Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson), actor Aidan spilled: “It feels like their second honeymoon.
“They’re going out on boats, going to the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and to the theatre.
“It’s like the early days of their relationship.”
He continued: “It’s nice for Ross to have fun with Demelza and to find the love as it’s been lost for a while.”
However, things will take a turn for the worst when Monk Adderley (Max Bennett) makes a play for Demelza.
His advances lead to Ross and Monk duelling and Demelza questioning if she should leave her husband and return to Cornwall alone.
“London starts off with the best intentions but it doesn’t work,” Eleanor told TV Times.
“Demelza feels insecure about how to behave. Whilst she’s become used to the Cornish lords, dealing with these people is different and, of course, George and Elizabeth are there causing problems at every turn.”
The actress added: “Demelza realises London isn’t for her but she’s flattered that Ross wants to take her.
