Charlie Puth subtly responded to Taylor Swift dropping his name in her record-breaking album, The Tortured Poets Department, which officially dropped last month on April 19.

Some of the lyrcis included, 'You smoked then ate seven bars of chocolate/We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist/I scratch your head, you fall asleep.'

In a video shared to both his TikTok and Instagram page on Friday, Puth could be seen standing inside a room as he shared a snippet of his upcoming single, Hero.

Text also appeared towards the top of the reel which read, 'These last couple weeks have been really crazy for obvious reasons, but I wanted to share something with you.'
