WrestleMania 40 has been labelled the biggest WrestleMania of all-time by WWE and the company made a pretty good start to honouring that notion in Philadelphia on Saturday night.

We saw new champions, Rhea Ripley cement herself as one of the biggest stars of this era and, of course, what will be viewed as a legendary tag team main event.

Over 73,000 packed into the Lincoln Financial Field Stadium to witness the action and a lot of the action in the main event has ramifications for tomorrow night.

Perhaps most newsworthy is the fact The Rock is back, he got through his match and he was the one who got the win, not Roman Reigns.

Let's get into the full results:

RAW Women's Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) def. Becky Lynch

The Man is arguably the greatest woman to ever lace her boots in WWE, but this match was a testament to the idea that now it's Rhea Ripley's time.

The Aussie, complete with a special entrance by Motionless in White, seized her opportunity to open the show with a bang as she battled a foe who had been legitimately sick all week long.

Lynch gave as good as she got the entire affair, but an irrepressible Ripley finally landed a monstrous Rip Tide to secure the 1-2-3.

Undisputed Tag Team Championships: Judgement Day (c) vs DIY vs New Day, vs New Catch Republic vs Awesome Truth vs Austin Theory and Grayson Waller

This match strayed from the norm as it required both sets of belts hanging above the ring with both separately on the line.

Out of almost nowhere, Theory and Waller won the SmackDown belts before R-Truth, who was the star of the show with his needless hot tag and pinfall, grabbed the RAW straps for his team.

There was several jaw-dropping moments in this match. JD McDonagh was sent through a table from the top of the ladder on the outside, Johnny Gargano DDT'd Tyler Bate through a table from the apron and Tommaso Ciampa delivered an Air Raid from the top of the ladder, too.

Rey Mysterio & Andrade def. Santos Escobar & Dominik Mysterio

For the second year in a row, Rey Mysterio got the win over his son Dominik, but this time he had some unexpected help.

Philadelphia Eagle legend Jason Kelche and Lane Johnson showed up during the final stretch to clear the way for the good guys to win. Mysterio hit his famous 619 on both Escobar and Dom before nailing a Frog Splash
