Harry Kane showed off his German as he starred in an Audi advert alongside Bayern Munich team-mates Thomas Muller and Mathys Tel.

The Bundesliga's deadliest marksman took time away from the field to shoot the commercial for German manufacturer and an official partner of the club. 

Kane can be seen behind the wheel as Mueller, in the passenger seat, asks 'Harry, where are we going?' 

'Umleitung,' the England captain replies as he veers round a corner before repeating the German word for detour, ahead of another manoeuvre through the Bavarian streets. 

It's at this point that youngster Tel, seated in the back of the Audi Q6 e-tron, becomes concerned and enquires of Muller if Kane is serious.

'Harry, you know 'Umleitung' isn't a place right?' Muller says, to which Kane replies: 'Thomas, I know. I'm just getting to know my new home.' 

There's another moment of levity at the end of the advert when Muller jokes 'next destination 'Einbahnstrasse,' meaning 'one-way street.' Kane attempts to repeat after the native speaker and almost bursts out laughing. 

The 31-year-old should be at ease driving the vehicle, considering he picked out a black Q8 e-tron, with prices on that range starting at £58,000, for himself shortly after signing for Bayern.
