Andy Murray will return to the court next week in Bordeaux, as fellow former world No 1 Naomi Osaka hailed his ‘relentless’ desire to keep bouncing back from injury.
The 36-year-old suffered ankle ligament damage in March but earlier this week he declared his intent to play the Geneva Open, beginning on May 18, and then at the French Open for the first time since 2020.
And he has now added the lower-tier Challenger event in Bordeaux to his schedule, which begins on May 14.
