Defending champions Germany were held to a goalless draw in their women's Euro 2017 clash with Sweden. 

The holders played out the stalemate in a game of few chances in their Group B encounter. 

The best chance of the game for the underdogs fell to Stina Blackstenius but her effort from close range was parried by Almuth Schult.
