A jealous husband who stabbed his wife to death in their garage after he thought she was having an affair has been jailed for life.

Rajveer Mahey, 50, stabbed Kamaljeet Mahey, 45, twenty-eight times during the attack at their family home in Stowlawn, West Midlands.

He falsely believed his wife was having an affair with someone at work despite being repeatedly told this was untrue, Wolverhampton Crown Court heard.

The mother-of-two was left with catastrophic knife wounds to her neck and body after the attack at around 4.30am on December 15 last year.

However Mahey didn't take his own life and instead calmly walked outside to meet his family before showing them where he had left his wife to die in the garage.
