A murder investigation is under way after a woman was stabbed to death on a busy London street as she waited for a bus.
Onlookers watched in horror as the attack unfolded just metres from the bus stop in broad daylight.
Police were called to a bus station in Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware at 11:50am on Thursday after reports of a stabbing.
A woman was treated by London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance but tragically died at the scene.
Witnesses said she was waiting for a bus when knifed to death in a mugging gone wrong.
