Car crashes into tree, flips twice and five people escape

Just another quiet day in suburbia...until a car smashes into a tree and rolls through the neighbor's front yard.

An external home surveillance camera in Washtenaw County, Michigan captured the spectacular moment when a four-door sedan sped down a street, jumped a curb and then crashed into and felled a tree, coming to a stop on its hood only after completing two full rotations along the ground. 

Seconds later, four men — one after another — manage to climb out of the same rear window of the overturned car and then, seemingly uninjured, quickly run away. The surveillance video then jumps forward two minutes to show a fifth man as he jogs away from the vehicle.

Minutes later, rubberneckers both walk and drive into frame, slowing down or stopping entirely to stare at the unexpected sight of an upside down car on a manicured front lawn. Eventually authorities and an emergency vehicle arrive on the scene.
