BRITs host Jack Whitehall ribs Simon Cowell about plastic surgery

He's just announced his latest stand-up tour - and Jack Whitehall's tickets practically sold themselves after he left BRIT Awards 2019 viewers in stitches on Wednesday.

The comedian had many viewers guffawing at his uncomfortable gags, which were largely at the expense of the attendees, including Bros and Little Mix.

But it didn't impress everyone at home and left some high profile stars red faced, including Simon Cowell, who was the butt of one of Jack's harshest jokes.

While speaking about Best British Band nominees Little Mix, Jack made a scathing joke about the head of their former management company, Simon.

'They left their record label last year,' he remarked, of the girl group's 2018 split from SyCo.

'So Simon Cowell will be asking his surgeon to put a brave face on him if Little Mix win big tonight!' Jack quipped.

The joke went down well with the audience at home, who called his one liners 'the best' and 'hilarious'.

Jack also sat down with American pop star Shawn Mendes and remarked that the 20-year-old would be able to drink alcohol at the BRITs - unlike the GRAMMYs, due to the US drinking age.

'I think you should get absolutely bladdered this evening,' Jack told the I Know What You Did Last Summer singer, before asking the crowd who had seen the star's new Calvin Klein underwear campaign.

'It's actually my screensaver,' Jack joked, whipping out his phone.

One fan commented: 'Who else is loving Jack Whitehall presenting the brits?'
