It was a somber day for Kim Kardashian Friday as she marked the anniversary of her late father Robert Kardashian's birthday.
The reality TV queen, 38, took to social media with a decades-old shot of herself and the late attorney, who died from esophageal cancer at the age of 59 on September 30, 2003, about two months after he was diagnosed.
'Happy Birthday dad!!!!! This was my Sweet 16 and this is the moment my dad surprised me with my first car!' Kim wrote. 'I wish you were here so badly so we could have so many more memories!'

Kim had previously shared a video of the special day in February of 2017.
In the shot, both father and daughter were beaming as a teen Kim looked at the automobile her dad had bought her.
The mother-of-three - to daughter North, five, son Saint, three, and one-year-old daughter Chicago - added, 'We are all missing you and celebrating you today!'
