The actor, 29, looked the spitting image of the friendly half-giant as he sported the character's trademark matted hair and huge grisly beard.

Daniel looked like he had just walked straight out of J.K Rowling's literary works as he posed shirtless for the selfie with heavy smatterings of mud on his face.
Likening himself to Robbie Coltrane's cinematic role, he wrote: 'When Harry becomes Hagrid Behind the scenes: Craig's past life scene #miracle workers'.
Daniel stars as the leading role in the comedy series by Simon Rich, where he plays Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity's prayers.
